The old society had a balanced structure. It used the basic design of nature. Men being physically stronger were designated the external hardships while women can give birth to child, hence looked after the household. Both had strong roles to play in the society. Roles of same magnitude but different caliber.
Then came money, the single medium of exchange. Men earned money for their hardships while women kept working for kind. Money is always celebrated hence gave acknowledgement to men for their efforts. Women's efforts could never be quantified in terms of money hence acknowledgement was subjective.
Dowry system was probably a way to hand over the daughter's share of appreciation from her father. But it was mistook as an earning.
This power of money started getting misused and obviously the power lied in the hands of men. Women eventually felt deprived of this soul power.
Mother's womb doesn't differentiate between a male or female child. Women have same learning capacity as men. Education became right of every human being and opened the doors of opportunities for everyone.
Scientifically women mature faster than men. As a result marriage with age difference of 10-15 years was considered normal and ideal. But demand for earning wives increased and age difference between couples reduced. These days marriages break with compatibility issues.
In this entire evolution of society the nature's balance is diminishing. Woman can do everything that a man does but a man cannot bear a child.
These days if men have educational degrees, so do women.. If men can family responsibilities, so do women ...If men need personal space so do women but if men can't bear a child, then why should women ?.... Women have choosen to say NO to this mamoth task of having children... Probably now to balance back the society, men should challenge nature and get pregnant!!!
